Chapter 1
1 Yaqub {Jacob/James}, an Abdeh d'Alaha {a Slave of God} and of Maran Eshu Meshikha {Our Lord Yeshua, The Anointed One}: unto The Tharthasre Sharban {The Twelve Tribes}, which are sown among the Amme {the Peoples/the Nations/Gentiles}; Shlama {Peace}!
2 Let it be all Khadua {Joy} unto you, Akhay {my Brothers}, when you enter into various and many nesyune {trials},
3 for, you know that the trying of Haymanutha {Faith}, provides masaybranutha {patience} for you.
4 Yet, unto masaybranutha {patience}, let there be to it a complete work, so that you might be mature and perfect, and in nothing be deficient.
5 But, if a nash {a man} from you is deficient in khekmatha {wisdom}, he should ask for it from Alaha {God}, who gives unto all freely, and doesn't revile, and it will be given unto him.
6 Yet, let him ask in Haymanutha {Faith}, while not doubting, for, he who methphalag {doubts}, is compared unto a wave of the yama {the sea}, which the wind disturbs,
7 and don’t suppose that that bar-nasha {son of mankind} receives a thing from MarYa {The Lord-YHWH},
8 he who is divided in reyaneh {his mind}, and troubled in all his ways.
9 But, the Akha {the Brother} who is humble will boast, in his exaltation,
10 and the athiyra {the rich}, in his humility, because, as the blossom of the herb, thus he will pass away,
11 for, the shemsha {the sun} shines in its heat, and is withering unto the herb, and its blossom falls off, and the beauty of its appearance is lost. Thus also, the athiyra {the rich} withers, through his conduct.
12 Good things come unto the gabra {the man} who is enduring trials, because, after he is examined, he will receive The Kliyla d'Khaye {The Crown of Life}, which Alaha {God} promises unto those who love Him.
13 A nash {a man} shall not say when he is being tempted, that “from Alaha {God} I am tempted,” for, Alaha {God} doesn't tempt through biyshatha {evils}, and He, unto a nash {a man}, doesn't tempt;
14 rather, each nash {man} is tempted from regtheh {his lust}, and aroused, and drawn away,
15 and this regtheh {his lust} conceives, and gives birth unto sin, yet, when sin is mature, it gives birth unto mawtha {death}.
16 Don't wander, my beloved Brothers!
17 Every good and perfect gift from above, comes down from Aba d'Nahiyre {The Father of Lights}; that One with which isn’t any variation, not even a shadow of change.
18 He Himself desired and gave birth unto us by The Miltha d'Qushtha {The Word of Truth}, so that we would be the first fruits of Beryatheh {His Creation}.
19 And you, my beloved Brothers, every nash {man} from you should be quick to hear, and slow to speak, and slow to mergaz {be angry},
20 for, the rugzeh d'gabra {the wrath of man} doesn't perform The Zadiyqutha d'Alaha {The Righteousness of God}.
21 On account of this, be removing from yourselves all impurity and the abundance of wickedness, and in humility be receiving The Miltha {The Word} which is planted in your nature, which is able to make your souls Live.
22 But, be doers of The Miltha {The Word}, and not hearers only, and not deceiving your souls.
23 For, if a nash {a man} be a shamuah d'Miltha {a hearer of The Word}, and not an abudah {a doer}, this is compared unto those who behold their faces in a makhzitha {a mirror};
24 for, he sees naphsheh {his soul}, and turns away, and forgets how he was.
25 Yet, all who look into the perfect Namusa d'Hirutha {Law of Freedom}, and remain in it, isn't being a hearer of the hearing who forgets, but rather, is a doer of the work, and this one will be blessed in his labor.
26 And if a nash {a man} thinks that he ministers for Alaha {God} and yet, doesn't control leshaneh {his tongue}, he is deceived in lebeh {his heart}; for, of this one, his ministry is empty.
27 For, The Ministry which is pure, and Holy before Alaha Aba {God, The Father}, is this: It visits Orphans and Widows in their affliction, and keeps a nash's naphsheh {a man's soul} from the world, without a spot.
Chapter 2
1 Akhay {My Brothers}, do not, in partiality with persons, be holding to The Haymanutha d'Teshbukhtheh d'Maran Eshu Meshikha {The Faith of The Glory of Our Lord Yeshua, The Anointed One}.
2 For, if a nash {a man} enters into Kenushthkun {your Synagogue} who has rings which are of gold, or who has beautiful garments, and then enters a meskina {a poor man}, in filthy garments,
3 and you have respect with that one who is clothed in shaphiyre {beautiful} garments, and say unto him, “You sit here, it is proper,” and unto the meskina {the poor man}, you say unto him, “Stand further away,” or unto him “sit here, in front of {lit. before} the footstool of my feet,”
4 Behold, are you not divided among yourselves, and being a judge of makhshbatha biyshatha {evil thoughts}?
5 Listen my beloved Akhay {Brothers}! Was it not the meskine {the poor} of the world, yet, rich in Haymanutha {Faith}, who were chosen by Alaha {God} to be Heirs in The Malkutha {The Kingdom}, that which Alaha {God} promised for those who love Him?
6 Yet, you are neglectful unto the meskina {the poor}. Listen! Don’t the atiyre {the rich} rise up against you, and are those who drag you unto the house of judgment?
7 Listen! Are they not blaspheming against The Good Name, about which you Proclaim?
8 And if in this, you obey The Namusa d'Alaha {The Law of God}, as that which is written, that “You shall have love for your neighbor, as your own soul,” you do well.
9 But, if you favor persons, you act in sin, and you are reproved from
The Namusa {The Law} as transgressing concerning The Namusa {The Law}.
10 For, he who observes all The Namusa {The Law}, and slips in one part; unto the whole Namusa {Law} is condemned!
11 For, He who spoke: “Don’t commit adultery,” is He who spoke: “Don’t murder.” Yet, if you don’t commit adultery, but, you murder, you have become one which transgresses concerning The Namusa {The Law}.
12 Thus you are to be speaking, and thus you are to be doing,
like nasha {someone}, which, in The Namusa d'Hirutha {The Law of Freedom} you are destined to be judged.
13 For, judgment will be without mercy upon that one who hasn't performed mercy. By mercy you will be elevated over judgment.
14 What is the profit, Akhay {my Brothers}, if a nash {a man} says that “For me there is Haymanutha {Faith},” and there is no wabade {works} for him, unless Haymanutheh {his Faith} is able to make him Live?
15 And if an Akha {a Brother}, or an Khatha {a Sister} might be naked, and lacking of food that day,
16 and a nash {a man} from you, says unto them, “Go in peace, be warm and satisfied,” and doesn't give unto them the needs of the body, how does it profit them?
17 Thus also, Haymanutha {Faith -feminine} which is without bade {works -masculine} is miytha {dead}, she {i.e. Faith} being alone.
18 For, a nash {a man} may say unto you, “For you is Haymanutha {Faith} and for me, are bade {works}, show me Haymanuthak {your Faith} which is without bade {works}, and I, I will show unto you Haymanuthi {my Faith} from baday {my works}.”
19 You believe that Alaha {God} is One, you do well, even the shide {the demons} believe, and tremble.
20 Yet, do you desire to know, O weak bar-nasha {son of mankind}, that Haymanutha {Faith} which is without bade {works}, is miytha {dead}?
21 Our forefather Abraham, was he not justified from works, who offered up Isaac his son upon the Madbakha {the Altar}?
22 You see, that Haymanutheh {his Faith} was an aide for his works, and from his works, Haymanutheh {his Faith} was complete,
23 and The Kathaba {The Scripture} was fulfilled which said: “Abraham believed in Alaha {God}, and He counted it unto him for Zadiyqu {Righteousness},” and he was proclaimed “The Urakhma d'Alaha {The Friend of God}.”
24 You see, that from bade {works}, a bar-nasha {a son of mankind} is justified, and not being so from Haymanutha {Faith} alone.
25 Thus also, Rahab the Zanitha {the Prostitute}, was she not justified from bade {works}, who was receptive unto the spies, and in sending them out another way?
26 As the pagra {the body}, which is without the rukha {the spirit}, is miyth {dead}, thus also Haymanutha {Faith}, which is without bade {works}, is miytha {dead}.
Chapter 3
1 Let not many teachers be among you, Akhay {my Brothers}, but rather, be knowing that we are deserving of more judgment,
2 for, we all offend many. All who don't offend in word, this is a perfect gabra {man}, who is also able to subdue all his body.
3 For, behold, we place bridles in the mouth of horses, so that they are
subservient unto us, and their entire body we turn.
4 Even mighty ships, while driven by strong winds, from a little
timber are drawn unto the region which the desire of him that is driving is looking.
5 Thus also, the leshana {the tongue} is a member that is small, and exalts. Also a small nura {fire} will burn many forests;
6 and the leshana {the tongue} is a nura {a fire}, and the world of sin is as a forest, and this leshana {tongue} is, while it is among our members, will defile unto all of our body, and burn the generations of our families, which run as wheels, and will also burn itself in the nura {the fire}.
7 For, all the natures of creatures, and of bird, and creeping things of the sea, and of the dry land, are subjected unto the nature of nashutha {humanity},
8 But, the leshana {the tongue}, no nash {man} is able to subdue. This is evil which isn't restrained; it is full of the poison of mawtha {death}.
9 By it our blessings are unto MarYa {The Lord-YHWH}, and Aba {The Father}; and by it, curses are unto the banay-nasha {the sons of mankind}, who were made in the likeness of Alaha {God},
10 and from the mouth goes out curses and blessings. It isn't right Akhay {my Brothers} that these things thus happen!
11 Perhaps, from one spring are able to be bringing forth sweet and bitter waters?
12 Or, perhaps the fig tree Akhay {my Brothers}, is able to produce olives, or the vine, figs? Thus also, salty waters are not able to produce that which is sweet.
13 Who is from you that is wise and learned? He will show his works in good behavior; in humble wisdom.
14 But, if bitter envy is in you, or contention in your hearts, don't be proud against The Truth, and become deceivers,
15 because this “wisdom” doesn't descend from above, but rather, is
earthly, from thoughts of the soul, and from the shide {the demons}.
16 For, where there is envy and contention, there also is disorder and every thing that is evil.
17 But, the wisdom that is from above, is pure, and peaceful, and humble and obedient, and full of mercies, and good fruits, and is without discord, and doesn't favor persons.
18 Yet, The Phire d'Zadiyqutha {The Fruits of Righteousness} are sown in tranquility unto those who produce shlama {peace}.
Chapter 4
1 From where are there among you wars and strife? Are they not from the lusts that are contending in your members?
2 You lust, and there is nothing for you, and you kill, and you are envious, and it doesn't come into your hands, and you contend, and you make wars, and there is nothing for you, because you don’t ask.
3 You ask and you don’t receive, because you ask evilly, so as to feed your

7 But you, Akhay {my Brothers}, be long suffering of spirit, until The Coming of MarYa {The Lord-YHWH}, like the farmer who watches for the precious fruits of the ground, and is patient {lit. long suffering of spirit} concerning them, until receiving the first and the latter rain.

Chapter 3
1 Let not many teachers be among you, Akhay {my Brothers}, but rather, be knowing that we are deserving of more judgment,

3 For, behold, we place bridles in the mouth of horses, so that they are

5 Thus also, the leshana {the tongue} is a member that is small, and exalts. Also a small nura {fire} will burn many forests;

6 and the leshana {the tongue} is a nura {a fire}, and the world of sin is as a forest, and this leshana {tongue} is, while it is among our members, will defile unto all of our body, and burn the generations of our families, which run as wheels, and will also burn itself in the nura {the fire}.

12 Or, perhaps the fig tree Akhay {my Brothers}, is able to produce olives, or the vine, figs? Thus also, salty waters are not able to produce that which is sweet.

Chapter 4

6 But, Maran {Our Lord} has given unto us excessive Taybutha {Grace}, because this was spoken: that, “Alaha {God} brings humility unto the proud, and unto the humble, He gives Taybutha {Grace}.”

9 Be humble and mournful, and change your laughter into grief, and your joy into distress.

11 And don’t be speaking against each other, Akhay {my Brothers}, for he who speaks against Akhuhi {his Brother}, or is judgmental unto Akhuhi {his Brother}, is speaking against The Namusa {The Law}, and brings judgment unto The Namusa {The Law}. And if unto The Namusa {The Law} you are bringing judgment, you are not being a doer of The Namusa {The Law}, but rather, a judge of it.

17 And those who know the good, and doesn't do it, for them it becomes sin for them.
Chapter 5
1 Oh you athiyre {rich}! Lament and weep concerning the misery that is coming upon you,

3 and your gold and silver are rusted, and for a testimony, their rust will be against you, and which are destined to consume your flesh. You have gathered fire for yourself for your final days.

4 Behold, the wage of the laborers who have harvested your land, whom

5 for, you have lived merrily on the Ara {the Earth}, and have lived on delicacies, and have been feeding your bodies like the one for the day of slaughter!

11 for, behold, we give blessings unto those who endured. You have heard the patience of Job, and the end MarYa {The Lord-YHWH} made for him, you have seen, on account that MarYa {The Lord-YHWH} is merciful and compassionate.
12 But, before all things, Akhay {my Brothers}, don’t be swearing. Not by the Shmaya {the Heavens}, and not by the Ara {the Earth}, also by another oath, but rather, your word shall be, “Yes, yes,” and “No, no,” so that you should not be guilty under judgment.
13 And if a nash {a man} from you might be in difficulty, he should be praying, and if joyful, he should be praising,

15 and The Tslutha d'Haymanutha {The Prayer of Faith} will be the cure for that one who is sick, and he will be raised up for Maran {Our Lord}, and if he has committed sins, for him they will be forgiven for him.

16 But, be confessing saklwathkun {your wrongdoings} one unto another, and be praying one concerning another, so that you will be healed. Great is the power of the prayer for whom that just one is praying for.
17 Even EliYa {Elijah} was a bar-nasha {a son of mankind} with feelings like us, and he prayed that no rain would descend upon the ground, and none descended for three years and six months.
18 And again he prayed, and the Shmaya {the Heavens} gave rain, and the ground gave produce.
19 Akhay {My Brothers}, if a nash {a man} from you wanders from The Way of Truth, and a nash {a man} turn him back from his error,

20 he should know, that he who turns around a Khataye {a Sinner} from his error of The Way, saves naphsheh {his soul} from mawtha {death}, and wipes out a multitude of his sins!
